Who am I?
I am a jack of all trades. I am a festival programmer, director and filmmaker with skills and experience in the Art, Modelmaking and Prosthetics Departments respectively.
Having worked as a critic for Film Ireland and the Young Irish Critics, as well as curating shorts programs for the Dublin International Film Festival and PRISMA Queer Film Festival, I have an extensive knowledge of filmmaking from both a production and criticism standpoint.
The script of my film Same Old Meat (2024) was nominated for a National Student Media (SMEDIA) award in Dublin in 2024 and my film Hysterics (2023) won the 'Best Horror' award at The People's Picturehouse in Cork in 2024. My recent film Bonded By Clay (2025) was showcased at the Waterford film showcase as part of culture night.
I have been taught by Ali Gordon (SomeDevilFX) and Tom McInerney (PuffJockey) on many different aspects of the prosthetics and FX makeup departments, as showcased here on my website.
As well as this I completed the Human Anatomy for Sculpture course run by the National Talent Academies and renowned sculptor Alan Clarke.
I have completed the National Talent Academies’ Passport to Production course also, with which I gained necessary industry credits and knowledge.
Though my main area of expertise is horror, I am open to working in other genres as well.
